Throughout May, we came together across the Nordics to celebrate one of Enento’s core strategic focus areas: Empowered People. Our Empowered People Month was not just an agenda of inspiring sessions – it was a collective investment in our culture, connection, well-being and performance.
When we launched the initiative on May 5th, our goal was clear: to spark meaningful reflection around living our values, taking care of our well-being, and strengthening collaboration. Now, looking back, I feel proud and inspired by the way our people embraced this opportunity.
Why Empowered People Month matters
At Enento, we believe that empowering our people is foundational to everything we want to achieve – from excellent customer experience to long-term business success. While many of the sessions were energizing on their own, they served a deeper purpose: nurturing a culture where people feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow.
Research shows that organizations that prioritize learning, collaboration, and well-being consistently see better results – from engagement and retention to productivity and innovation. This month was a clear step forward on that path.
Highlights from the month
Over four weeks, we offered a wide range of activities – at the offices, online and outdoors – designed to support the mind and body. Whether our people joined a reflective session or took part in something hands-on, the common thread was personal empowerment. Some of the most appreciated sessions included:
- Painting – creative activity
- Load of Life – webinar by Firstbeat, focusing on energy management and recovery
- Mindfulness introduction – learn and practice
- Fuel for Focus – eating for better health and performance
- How to deal with change – webinar by Auntie (an online mental well-being service that combines expert-led sessions with practical tools to reduce stress and support mental resilience)
The diversity of content ensured that there was something valuable for everyone – whether you were looking to unwind, be inspired, or simply connect with colleagues.
What we heard from you
The feedback from our people has been both insightful and affirming. On a scale of 1 to 5, the average satisfaction rating for the month was 3.92 – a clear indication that the program met its mark.
Your reflections on this month were both honest and insightful. While some could not fully participate due to workload and timing, the feedback still highlighted what matters most.
Creative sessions like painting stood out as favorites, offering a welcome break from work. Many emphasized the value of mental recovery, focus, and stress relief, reminding us that well-being is more than productivity.
Your written feedback also revealed strong, recurring themes:
- A renewed ownership over personal well-being and habits – from taking micropauses to limiting multitasking.
- Increased awareness of mental load and recovery, especially following the Load of Life session.
- Appreciation for the company’s real investment in employee well-being and living our values.
As one participant wrote:
“Those little things can have a huge impact on overall wellbeing. It was also great to see that Enento really invests in this kind of things – it tells a lot about the company values.”
This feedback reinforces what we know to be true: empowered people do not just perform better – they feel better, and they help build a stronger, more connected workplace. For future activities we can better align the timing to ensure more people can join in and benefit from the program.
What comes next
While the month has ended, the work continues. Your feedback will help shape our next initiatives, and we will continue to explore how to better support your growth, health, and engagement across the year.
Thank you to everyone who joined, contributed, and shared their thoughts on the theme month. Empowerment is not a one-off event – it is something we build, day by day, together.
Warm regards,
