Enento contributes to a sustainable economy in society by developing services that help both businesses and individuals manage their finances effectively. We stay attuned to societal changes and proactively create new services to meet evolving market demands. Our latest service updates address issues such as fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, and monitoring counter-party risks connected to sanction lists. Additionally, we contribute to society by sharing our expertise on sustainable economy through media and offering financial advice to the public via our own channels and external platforms.
We share our expertise on a sustainable economy via media
We actively engage in societal discussions and share distinctive data on preventing over-indebtedness. We share our expertise by participating at regulatory preparation work to support authorities, and we address sustainable finance and responsible lending topics (like quarterly payment default statistics and monthly bankruptcies data) in various forums and media.
We provide daily support to the public and financial literacy programs for young adults
We assist people in managing their finances and avoiding over-indebtedness by offering valuable advice through our websites and customer service. We, for instance, publish tutorials about payment defaults and how to check your credit worthiness.
Our payment default statistics show that over-indebtedness often begins early in life. In Finland, 10,5 percent of the age group 25-29 has payment defaults, compared to the national average of 7,5 percent. To address this, we’ve offered financial literacy programs since 2011, helping young adults manage their finances and avoid high-risk loans.
We have developed TarkkaFyrkka program for educational institutions in Finland. The purpose of TarkkaFyrkka is to create and share material about managing personal finances. In Finland, we have organized workshops and webinars for adults working with young people and created a free of charge material bank to support financial education. We have developed Tarkka Fyrkka with our partner Nuorten Akatemia (the Youth Academy) since 2016, and the first joint workshops were held in 2017.
Within our The Bill program in Sweden, we have concentrated on offering our Kreditkollen service for free to individuals under 21 and on developing and distributing digital educational materials through our various partnership networks. These materials have been prepared in multiple languages, including Arabic, to reach a wider audience. Our local collaboration partners include
- Alkompis, the largest Arabic news outlet in the Nordics
- Fryshuset Foundation, a non-profit organization focusing on empowering young adults from various backgrounds through, for instance, training and development,
- Gimi, a financial application designed for children and young adults that features digital lessons and quizzes.
