Enento expands sustainability offering following tenth consecutive year of profitable growth

Enento continues its growth journey with strong financial results for 2021. This year, several new services based on sustainability data will be launched in the Nordic market, including the first ESG report in Sweden.

Today, Enento Group releases its Annual Report 2021. The report shows that the increased demand for Enento’s services in 2021 led to the company’s tenth consecutive year of profitable growth.

“We have a strong market position, and our Nordic presence has grown stronger year by year. Enento’s development has been particularly strong during the past ten years, with the Finnish company Asiakastieto first becoming publicly listed and then expanding into the Nordic Enento Group. At the same time, the company’s net sales have grown by 350 percent. This is an impressive achievement. I will now continue to work together with everyone at Enento to make our future equally bright,” comments Jeanette Jäger, who started her CEO post in January of 2022.

Expanded sustainability offering in 2022

One of Enento’s strategic product development areas is the ESG (Environmental Responsibility, Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance) offering. The market demand for easily accessible sustainability data is highly increasing. A growing number of companies consider sustainability data to be an important risk factor when taking business and investment decisions, as well as an opportunity to find new solutions and strategic advantages. The upcoming regulations such as the EU taxonomy and CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) are further accelerating the need to collect and evaluate large amounts of sustainability data.

“Data always weighs heavier than words. Consumers are looking for sustainable products. Employees are looking for responsible companies. Investors are looking for green investment opportunities. Creditors and shareholders are requesting transparent sustainability reporting from companies. Now it’s time for the business community to show how we walk the talk,” comments Jeanette Jäger.

Enento Group’s ESG services assess companies’ performance and reputation within the ethics and sustainability field. The services collect and organize ESG data about Nordic companies related to risk and financial targets, customers and business partners in the value chain – and make it universally accessible and locally useful to customers in the digital format. Enento will launch its first ESG service in Sweden, the ESG report, in March 2022. In addition, the next generation of the ESG report will be launched in Finland.
